Wie wir bereits berichtet haben, gab es beim Astroworld-Festival 2021 eine Massenpanik, die mehreren Menschen das Leben kostete. Unter den Opfern waren auch Kinder. Seit besagtem Zeitpunkt stand Veranstalter Travis Scott unter Kritik. Nachdem der Rapper bereits vor einiger Zeit ein Statement zur besagten Tragödie veröffentlicht hatte, folgte gestern auf seinem Instagram-Kanal das zweite: Laut eigenen Angaben habe er sich in den letzten Monaten Zeit genommen, um zu trauern und alles zu verarbeiten. Er möchte nun seine Reichweite nutzen, um einen Wandel zu bewirken. Gemeinsam mit seinem Team habe der das Projekt „HEAL“ gegründet. „My team and I created Project HEAL to take much needed action towards supporting real solutions that make all events the safest spaces they can possibly be. I will honor the victims of the Astroworld tragedy who remain in my heart forever.“ Man wolle sich in Zukunft darauf fokussieren, solche Vorfälle auf Veranstaltungen zu vermeiden.
