US-Rapper Young Dolph ist tot. Das geht unter anderem aus Medienberichten von TMZ hervor. Er soll sich am gestrigen Mittwoch in einem Keksladen in Memphis befunden haben, als auf ihn geschossen worden sei. „[…] Dolph went into the store, and a vehicle pulled up, firing through a front window and striking the rapper“, so berichtet TMZ. Als die Polizei um 12:24 Uhr am Tatort eingetroffen sei, habe man nur noch den Tod eines männlichen Opfers feststellen können, heißt es in einem offiziellen Statement von Chief CJ Davis auf dem Twitter-Account des Memphis Police Department. „This shooting is another example of the senseless gun violence we are experiencing locally and nationwide“, schreibt Chief CJ Davis. „Our hearts go out to the Thornton family and all who are affected by this horrific act of violence.“ Young Dolph wurde 36 Jahre alt.
