Lil Scrappy unterschreibt bei Disturbing Tha Peace

Lil Scrappy hat einen Deal bei LudacrisDisturbing Tha Peace Records unterschrieben und wird in Zukunft seine Alben über das Label sowie Def Jam Records releasen. Der Deal bezieht sich auch auf Scrappy’s G’s Up Label.

DTP CEO Chaka Zulu über das neue Signing:

He has been involved in a major movement in southern Hip-Hop and also has shown he can be an asset as a businessman/ CEO with his G’s Up brand. I am extremely excited about the next moves for Scrappy, as we have signed him to Def Jam. He can stand next to Hip-Hop’s elite and compete. Also he is shooting a movie currently, which will allow his star to continue to get brighter.“

Lil Scrappy’s kommendes Soloalbum „The Grustle“ soll noch in diesem Jahr erscheinen. Zudem wird der Rapper auf den kommenden DTP Releases von Willy Northpole („The Connect“), Playaz Circle („Flight 360“)und dem Ludacris & Shawnna Kollaboalbum „Battle Of The Sexes“ zu hören sein.

Scrappy war zuvor bei BME Recordings/ Warner Music Group unter Vertrag. Jüngst hatte der ATL Rapper und seine Crew G’s Up das Album „Silence and Secrecy: Black Rag Gang“ als Joint Venture über Good Hands Records und G’s Upveröffentlicht.
