Sängerin Christina Milian hat laut billboard.com einen neuen Deal bei MySpace Records unterschrieben und wird im Frühjahr 2009 ein neues Album releasen.
Die erste Single aus dem kommenden Album ist der Track ‚Us Against The World‘. Der Song wird am 6. Oktober 2008 auf myspace.com seine Premiere feiern.
Weiterhin hat die Sängerin für ihr noch unbetiteltes Album bereits mit Cool & Dre, Danja, T-Pain und Jim Jonsin zusammengearbeitet. Als erstes Feature steht bislang Kanye West fest.
Christina Milian über ihre neue Labelheimat:
„I am so excited to be a part of the MySpace family. They represent the future of the music industry and for me as a musician, it’s important to align myself with a label that allows me to be very much a part of the process. I wrote most of the record myself, worked with producers who I had a connection with and they (MySpace) have supported me as an artist every step of the way.“
Milian war ursprünglich bei Def Jam Records unter Vertrag. Nach den enttäuschenden Verkaufszahlen ihres letzten Albums „So Amazin'“ (163.000 verkaufte Kopien) wurde sie jedoch von ihrem Label gedroppt.
