Joe Budden’s neues Album „Padded Room“, welches ursprünglich am 28. Oktober 2008 erscheinen sollte, wurde aufgrund von „complications with the physical product“ auf den 24. Februar 2009 verschoben. Um die Wartezeit auf den Tonträger zu verkürzen, wird Budden’s Label Amalgam Digital am 28. Oktober ein Digital Only Album namens „The Halfway House“ anbieten. Das Album wird 14 neue Joe Budden Tracks beinhalten und kann über www.amalgamdigital.com. oder iTunes geordert werden.
Joe Budden über die Verzögerung:
„Though I’m not happy about it being pushed so far back, I do understand the method behind the madness. We’ve got an album I’m extremely proud of and a lead single that Amalgam Digital and I are both very happy with, but for those of you who are just as anxious as I am, I apologize.“
