DJ Muggs wird im Juni 2008 seine Soul Assasins Reihe fortführen und zusammen mit Planet Asia „Soul Assasins III – DJ Muggs vs. Planet Asia“ veröffentlichen. DJ Muggs über das Projekt:
„I decided to do the Soul Assassins III album different.Instead of having and album with 15 different Mcs, I’m going to have Soul Assassins albums featuring one MC with guests surrounding him. It will be both a chapter in the Soul Assassins series, and a chapter in the Muggs Vs series (2006 Muggs vs GZA) (2007 Muggs vs Sick Jacken). This record is incredible, we start mixing next week and we’ll be dropping two videos next month. Following that will be a series of „secret“ shows around the L.A. area, where you can catch a preview of the record.“
