Busta Rhymes arbeitet momentan an seinem neuen Album, das nach dem Arbeitstitel „Before Hell Freezes Over“ nun in „Back On My Bullshit“ umbenannt wurde. Die Idee für diesen Albumnamen kam laut Busta Rhymes von Pharrell Williams:
„I’m calling it Back On My Bullshit for two reasons. I said it on [a new song,] and it stuck in Pharrell’s head. And because this album, in particular, feels like vintage Busta Rhymes, in a 2008 way. It was original and appropriately the right thing to call the project. No deep brain-science … nothing like that.“
Als Produzenten konnte der Flipmode Squad Chef bereits Dr. Dre, Cool & Dre, Nottz, Danja,Pharrell Williams, DJ Green Lantern und Timbaland gewinnen. Im Vorfeld des neuen Relases wird Busta Rhymes zudem gleich 4 neue Mixtapes veröffentlichen: „King of The Remixes“, „48 Laws of Power“, „I’ve Already Outshined Your Favorite Rapper“ und die Fortsetzung „Dillagence 2“ mit Mick Boogie.
