Mr. Größenwahn himself Brian „Baby“ Williams bka Birdman plant wiedermal sein Imperium zu erweitern. Dieses Mal geht es nicht wie vor zwei Jahren um den Einstieg ins Öl-Geschäft, sondern um die Initiation von Cash Money Films.
Offensichtlich plant Birdman noch diesen Herbst ein Filmprojekt zu verwirklichen. Die Hauptrolle in dem Streifen, der den Titel „Rich Gang“ tragen wird, soll niemand anderes als Babys „Sohn“ und Goldesel Lil Wayne übernehmen. Weiterhin sollen auch alle anderen YMCMB-Künstler in dem Film zu sehen sein.
Birdmans Aussage im Einzelnen:
?We start shooting that in the fall. That?s the whole team, that?s like a 2012 Balla Blocking. The Rich Gang movie is about the team. Everybody is going to be the star of it, but Wayne will be the center of it. It?s about the team, everybody that?s on the label.?
I would like them for just be themselves. I?m not gonna tell no nigga to go to acting school. Just be yourself. We?re excited as a brand about it. Tyga, everybody is like, ?Stunna, let?s do a movie.? We got a few of them lined up and we gonna shoot them.?
Wenn es sich bei dieser Ankündigung nicht wieder um einen Publicy-Stunt handelt, darf man sich also darauf freuen, bald das schauspielerische Talent eines Gudda Gudda genauer unter die Lupe nehmen zu dürfen.
