Nachdem in den letzten Tagen so einiges über Tony Yayo’s vermeintlichen Angriff auf Jimmy Henchman’s Sohn berichtet worden ist, haben sich sicher einige gefragt, warum der sonst so redselige 50 Cent noch nichts zu dem Vorfall gesagt hat. Nun hat sich 50 aber zu Wort gemeldet und nochmals bekräftigt während des angeblichen Vorfalls nicht in New York gewesen zu sein.:
„As CEO of G-Unit Records, I take allegations swirling in the media regarding the alleged altercation against a teenage boy on Tuesday Mar. 20 in Manhattan very seriously. I have authorized an independent investigation of the incident to determine whether anyone associated with G-Unit Records was involved in the confrontation. I must state for the record, that I was at my home in Farmington, Connecticut the entire day completing songs for my new album.?(allhiphop.com)
Zudem sieht 50 Cent auch seinen guten Ruf in Gefahr und warnt die Leute vor falschen Anschuldigungen:
?A word of caution to anyone attempting to link me personally to this unfortunate incident for their own selfish motivations, I will vigorously pursue all legal remedies available to me to protect my professional reputation.“
Ich hab gar nicht gewußt, dass 50 Cent einen guten Ruf in der Öffentlichkeit genießt. Mal sehen, ob Curtis „Sherlock Holmes“ Jackson mit seiner ‚independent investigation‘ den Fall lösen kann.
