The Dream, der bereits als Sänger, Songwriter und Producer aktiv ist, hat nun eine neue Aufgabe übernommen. Das Multi Talent wird bei Def Jam Records den Posten des Executive Vice President of A&R übernehmen und in Zukunft den Def Jam Roster betreuen sowie neue Künstler unter Vertrag nehmen.
The Dream über sein neues Aufgabenfeld:

Derzeit arbeitet The Dream mit Rihanna an neuer Musik und wird zudem beim Pusha T Soloalbum als Executive Producer fungieren. Weiterhin soll 2012 auch ein weiteres The Dream Soloalbum namens „Love IV MMXII“ erscheinen.
