Rap-Legende LL Cool J wird dieses Jahr als Host durch die Preisverleihung der GRAMMY Awards führen. Damit ist Uncle L, der selbst schon zweimal bei der Veranstaltung gewinnen konnte, der erste Host seit 7 Jahren. Die letzten Jahre waren die GRAMMYs ohne Gastgeber ausgekommen. LL sagte über seinen neuen Job:
„I’m thrilled to be part of Music’s Biggest Night. I will always have fond memories of my first GRAMMY Awards and to now be hosting the GRAMMY show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true. Great performances and great music — it’s gonna be a great night!“
Die Veranstaltung findet am 12. Februar in Los Angeles statt. Nominiert sind u.a. Kanye West, Rihanna, Drake und Nicki Minaj.
