Das Jahr 2017 kann Kendrick Lamar bis dato als ein mehr als nur erfolgreiches Jahr abstempeln. Nachdem der in Compton geborene Rapper zuletzt Doppelplatin für sein Album „DAMN.“ erhielt, stehen die Chancen gut, dass er sich demnächst über einen weiteren Erfolg freuen darf. Am 26. August findet in Kalifornien die jährliche Preisverleihung der MTV Video Music Awards statt und Kung Fu Kenny wurde in acht von insgesamt 15 Kategorien nominiert.
