Slip N Slide CEO Ted Lucas hat in einem aktuellen Interview erklärt, dass Anwälte derzeit daran arbeiten, Trick Daddy aus seinem Vertrag zu lösen. Grund für die bald anstehende Trennug sei Trick Daddy’s Unzufriedenheit über die Promotion von seinem letzen Album.
„As of today (October 3) he is still signed to Slip-N-Slide. He has asked to be released from the label. We are in the process of making that decision; most likely Trick will no longer be on Slip N Slide going forward.“
